PRESIDENT’S COUNCIL MINUTES
June 2, 2004

ITEM 1. Children’s Hospital Fund Advisory Board

Council decided to postpone the Children’s Hospital Fund Advisory Board update due to absence of several members who were away on vacation.

ACTION: This item will be rescheduled in the near future.

ITEM 2. General Updates

Mr. Fisher announced that, as of May 31st, fundraising is twenty percent ahead of last year, and on track to exceed the annual goal.

Dean DeChamplain informed Council that the leadership transition in the College of Dental Medicine is proceeding smoothly.

Mr. Bonaparte reported that the South Carolina Human Affairs Commission will convert to the use of 2000 Census format in June 2004.
