Goals: While in Presidential Scholars Program I would like to learn how the research programs and faculty at MUSC work with the other programs in the hospital to benefit patients, and how these interactions can be improved. Also, I would like to learn how researchers can contribute to improving disparties in health care such as improving drug therapy, or reducing the costs of diagnostic tests for patients.
